چکیده
Sensor devices including biosensors are attracting considerable interest for molecule-speci c measurements with high sensitivity in a variety of applications ranging from clinical and pharmaceutical analysis to industrial process monitoring and environmental surveillance applications. A biosensor is composed of two main components: (i) a sensing interface, which speci cally interacts with analyte molecules, creating a change in physical or chemical parameters (e.g., pH, redox state, temperature, charge, refractive index, etc.) and (ii) a transducer, which converts this information into a quanti able read-out signal. Most commonly, electrochemical, optical, mass sensitive, and thermosensitive transducers are applied for biosensing platforms. Per its de nition, the biological recognition element is in direct contact with the transducer surface. Following transduction, the signal is typically ltered, ampli ed, recorded, or transmitted by a read-out system, resulting in a Scanning Probe Microscopy with Integrated Biosensors

Scanning Impedance Microscopy (SIM) is one of the novel scanning probe microscopy (SPM) techniques, which has been developed to taking image from sample surface, providing quantitative information with high lateral resolution on the interface capacitance, and investigating the local capacitance–voltage (C–V) behavior of the interface and AC transport properties. The SIM is an ordinary AFM equip...

Scanning Hall Probe Microscopy (SHPM) is a scanning probe microscopy technique developed to observe and image magnetic fields locally. This method is based on application of the Hall Effect, supplied by a micro hall probe attached to the end of cantilever as a sensor. SHPM provides direct quantitative information on the magnetic state of a material and can also image magnetic induction under a...
متن کاملElectrospun polylactic acid nanofiber membranes as substrates for biosensor assemblies
Biotin has been successfully incorporated into polylactic acid (PLA) nanofibers through electrospinning to prepare membrane substrates for biosensors based on biotin–streptavidin specific binding. Biotin incorporated PLA nanofiber membranes were characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), and confocal microscopy. Under optimized conditions, small ...
